About Us EL Ministries / Mike and Trinidad Garner
EL in Hebrew is a generic term for God. EL Ministries equals GOD Ministries. We are dedicated to pursuing the kingdom of God...first. EL Ministries is the personal ministry of Mike and Trini. The website gives a forum to Mike for writing and sharing his ideas with interested friends and other people. One of the articles titled, 'Reasons for the deaths of Ananias and Sapphira' had over 600 hits from the nation of Australia. Mike and Trini work through G.O.D. International. Mike is the Dean of 'The Institute for Global Outreach Developments International'. Trini's ministry is one of prayer and counseling with our many students. Mike and Trini's History Mike and Trini Garner met and married over 32 years ago while Mike was a 20 year old member of the United States Marine Corp on an extended deployment to the Philippines.
While stationed at Cubi Pt. Mike traveled to the only place he had learned of that had Bibles in the Tagolog language. After purchasing all the Bibles in the shop Mike began to give them away on the streets of Olongapo City. Mike did not know that one of the Bibles he gave away would lead him to the girl whom he would marry. Mike has served as a pastor, a missionary, and currently serves as the Director and Dean for The Institute for G.O.D. International. Mike holds both M.Div. and M.A.R. degrees from Azusa Pacific University. In 2002 Mike and Trini moved from their home in California to Nashville Tennessee. They live directly across the street from their son (Gregg) daughter in-law (Tara) granddaughter (Genesis) and grandson (Justice). Unnamed Servant Live Somewhere in the World!
Mike teaches at The Institute for G.O.D. International in the city of Nashville. Global Outreach Developments International is active in eight different countries and the parent organization to Students Living a Mission. .
Mike's wife Trini supports Mike in ministry, spends time praying for all that her family does and serves as receptionist in the G.O.D. International offices. Mike and Trini have traveled to the Philippines for the last three summers. They have trained students in ministry in a variety of settings. Students have participated in active ministry in Churches, Orphanages, Bible Colleges, Tribal ministry, at dumpsites where the unfortunate and oppressed must scavenge through refuse to survive and even in bars where they have ministered to and listened to the stories of girls trapped in the sex industry. Summer of 2004 was one of the greatest experiences of my life as we traveled into the nation of Uganda to find a place to establish another Bible Training Center.
