Shay Cullen's book is an honest portayal of one man's faith adventure. Personally I enjoyed this book because I have been in the Philippines on numerous occasions and lived to see many of the things which Shay records. Aside from that Shay's book is a powerful witness to the ability of God to use anyone that is open to serving God by serving humanity in a Godly way. Shay's life of service has seen many hard times yet his rewards are found in the faces of those whom he has helped. Shay's book can be purchased through his website. Click Here |
Kierkegaard's writings have been a constant source of critical engagement for my own intellectual growth. I have purchased this book and given it to many a seeking friend. Teaching Practice in Christianity in the classroom has proven to be a very spiritually challenging and maturing exercise. My students love the impact left upon them after they have read PIC and written on Kierkegaard's themes. |

This book is out of print and is being sold on Amazon.com. The Pentecostal movement is the most influential religious movement that Christianity has given birth to in the last century. The book is honest in its reporting of the development of Pentecostalism and should be read by anyone interested in the Pentecostal movement. This book is not meant to be a pro or con presentation, rather it is rich with documentation and historical information. The book also explores the social aspect that contributed to the birth of Pentecostalism. |
